    Biography:

An ardent Elvis Presley fan for over 20 years, Layla's passion for music history and the King of Rock 'n' Roll began at the age of 9 when she first heard his music on a cassette tape her mother had given her. That moment ignited a lifelong passion that continues to inspire her today.

With a keen interest in preserving the memories of original Elvis fans, Layla's focus within Gate Girl Records is to document the experiences of those who knew and loved Elvis during his heyday. She believes that the stories of fans who witnessed these iconic moments firsthand are as vital as the performances themselves and works to document and honor these experiences through interviews, archival research, and personal anecdotes.

Every fan’s story adds a unique thread to the tapestry of Elvis’s legacy, and Layla is committed to ensuring that these voices are never forgotten.

When not delving into music history, Layla enjoys visiting historical landmarks, collecting memorabilia, and going on adventures with her three children. Her goal with Gate Girl Records is to continue highlighting the correct narrative and insurmountable history behind The King, and his devoted fans, The Gate Girls.
